Could you import audio without paying robux? (Voice recordings, sound effects, ect)

I think the title is pretty self explanatory, but i can elaborate in the comments

You can place audio and images in the local assets folder or among the Studio data files without paying. The tradeoff is that they don’t get uploaded to Roblox, meaning you only see them on your own computer; other people seeing them is right out.

Roblox does not like people doing this; only recently did they cave in and add a local asset folder separate from the Studio data folder. I don’t remember where it is, but there’s a setting for it in the Studio settings somewhere.

If you can’t use the local assets folder, you can get to the Studio files by right-clicking the Studio shortcut and choosing Open file location.

After you’ve placed your assets in either of these folders, set the asset ID of your sound to rbxasset://your_audio_name.wav. rbxasset:// will pull data from the local computer, instead of from the Roblox cloud.
