Hello, in my game, I offer a reward for players who subscribe to my Youtube channel. Currently, I have a UI that shows my Youtube channel link on a TextLabel, is this allowed?
It should be fine, Roblox allows social media links on the game page and profiles, so I don’t see a problem with listing it in game. As long as it actually gives the player a reward, it should be fine.
I don’t think Roblox specified that it needed to have a reward.
Also currently (and most likely forever) there isn’t a check to see if a player is subscribed or not so having a reward for subscribing to said YouTube channel would be impossible.
I was more speaking in moral terms there, as it would be pretty scummy to promise something in return for subscribing and not reward it.
Also, I’ve seen rewards being given to subscribers of the developers youtube channel before. Pretty sure Strucid did this, though I have no idea if it was an automatic process or not.
