Clicking the roblox studio app, it would open for a moment and I would see the home page for my games (my inputs are unresponsive). Then studio just crashes.

What should happen is that I open the app, and it shouldn’t crash

what if you downloaded the wrong Roblox Studio file,
for example you could have downloaded the Windows version for your mac.
I used to own a mac and faced the same issue, I fixed it by deleting and re-installing Studio.
This only works for the first time I open studio. If I close it, it crashes on startup
Which mac version are you using currently? The Roblox Studio absolute minimum requirements states:
macOS 10.14 or higher, along with 3GB of ram.
