Can you show the hierarchy of game.ReplicatedStorage.LoadingGui?
Also it would be great if you could link to a place with these scripts in it so I can test it.

I’ve added you to Team Create for the ease 
Amberhold is a huge place, so I’m not sure if that’s the reason, but I don’t get it if it would be because joining it manually by the site works fine, just takes some time to load. 
Also, when you go to the ‘Choose Your Race’ screen at the first place, make sure to choose Men as the other stuff doesn’t exactly work yet.

Thanks for yoiur help so far.
Last thing; as I’ll be editing the same place, I’ve made a folder called ‘Backups’ in game.ReplicatedStorage which contains the broken GUI.
Just drag 'n drop the Customization into StarterGui and LoadingGUI in ReplicatedStorage, outside the folder. Don’t forget to enable them.

You should upload an rbxl (or send it personally to staff if you don’t want it public) so you can keep the repro working, and nobody has to worry about messing with your place

I tried to reproduce the crash and I couldn’t. Can you see if this is still happening for you with a custom loading screen? If it is can you post a place online that still has this behavior?
Also, a minimal reproduction is always better. If you are able to narrow down the problem you don’t need to post your entire place file.
