I know this will only likely be a bit of time before it gets removed for not proper place to discuss but why is there not a general forum category? Certain things discussed don’t really particularly fit the few given categories…

Didn’t quite know of that but it’s kinda common for forums to have a general chat spot, ridiculous there isn’t one already on here

Yeah I agree that there needs to be a general discussion channel on the forum. Also your topic is suppose to be in forum help > forum features, not development discussion because you are requesting for a feature to be made on the forum which belongs in the forum features channel.
You can just change the category by clicking on the topic title name and then click on development discussion and scroll all the way to the forum help > forum features.

Well, general as in stuff that doesn’t perhaps fit the few given categories, not necessarily a general chat hub but that could be solid as well I guess. The DevForum is more intended for dev talk I just feel like there’s certain stuff that doesn’t really fit a current-given category.

Yeah, I didn’t even know of a forum feature category until just a bit ago tbh, not a good look for the forum. Really, this should just be a category, appreciate you letting me know!

Plus one more thing, you should remove the first topic that you were talking about creating a general category on the forum because you can get the second topic taken down for being similar to your first topic. And whats the point of the first topic if this has been made?

yes bro there needs to be an off topic category EVEN if it’s restricted to only things that are about development
being able to ask a coding question in a centralized area where most people online are active beats scripting support by miles

EDIT: Well, preferably it’d be nice if had feature to merge the 2 together, I’ll keep that other one up and if they want to take either down, so be it

Lots of discussion that doesn’t particularly “fit” the current given categories would benefit from such. Ridiculous that certain stuff requires regular role and I’m not even sure how to gain regular role even after being on the forum for a while and such.
