I’d like to scale the explosion instance visual effect to any size (preferably only 3 studs in diameter), but since there is no property to adjust the visible size of the explosion, I need to make one from scratch. I was considering doing it using particle emitters, but it has been tricky getting it to capture the awesome aesthetics of the explosion instance. I need an artist’s mind to wrap my head around what needs to be done to replicate the explosion affect at a smaller scale. I would prefer not using parts.
Maybe I need a sequence of different particle emitters to be toggled off and on? What do you all think? Has anyone found a solution for a custom explosion using only particle emitters?
This is my fire + smoke effect, but it just looks like burning, not really an explosion.
