Creating an advanced sliding system

Currently, I’m working a sliding system, where the player is able to slide down wedges and parts pointed downwards.

However, I have some issues with positioning the character on the angle of the slope. I’m not that experienced in using ray normals and dot vectors to achieve this therefore, I would like someone to guide me through the process of adjusting the player’s orientation to the angle of the slope.

I have already looked through multiple threads, before anybody links some. But I still have a very harsh understanding on how to use it.
