I’ve had hundreds of issues with FPS systems such as FE Gun Kit and ACS, and I can’t seem to find any good solutions to these problems, so I turned to making my own, tool-based gun system which uses animation.
I don’t want it to be viewmodels or anything like that, just use regular roblox arm animations. How would I go about starting this? I plan to use FastCast and other modules for assistance, but does anyone have any guidance / other fps systems I havent looked at yet?
anyways, I recall correctly that ROBLOX themselves made have fps kit models, maybe you can deconstruct those to figure out how they work? Otherwise, your best bet is to learn ray-casting, and camera properties.
