I’ve decided on creating something new recently, I am wanting to make it so that on an event or whenever I choose the player character will gain an extra set of arms (granting the player 4 arms instead of 2) or back to 2 arms.
I have no clue where to start with this, considering I would also like to be able to animate it as a custom rig. Any advice?
You may be able to set this up similar to the regular character, but would have to either animate special animations, or in the case that Humanoids wouldn’t allow extra joints to be made, completely rescripting the Character.
I’m going to try adding a single extra arm, but the changes can most likely be duplicated easily. Adding joints onto the Collar attachments seems to be a good option, at least if you want it to look something like this:
