Creating in-game armor?

I’ve been in the works of creating a medieval/fantasy turn based combat game for years now. The first map is nearly complete and now I’ve jumped back and forth from creating weapons and armor. However, I’m not exactly sure how to go about adding it onto a character other than with just welding it. But if a player were to switch armor sets, how would they equip/unequip them?

Here is an example of what I’m going for, in this GIF is a NPC with the armor set I created welded onto the humanoid.

I’m also not entirely sure this should go in building support or scripting support.

you could move the armour in and out of repstorage, wielding it to your player when it comes into the workspace, and then when you unequip it destroy the wields and move it back into repstorage, then repeat the process, please correct me if i am misunderstanding what you are trying to achieve.
