Creating own character models vs using roblox character models

Try to create an rpg game with different races. Should i create my own low poly character models or stick with the roblox character models. Do roblox players hate playing as non roblox like characters? Some of my characters like dragon born , will look somewhat different from roblox character’s

depends on what you’re focusing for, but personally I’d say that sticking with Classic body parts would do for most.

Creating low poly might be a good way to use but if you’re making it as S15 (R15 but skinned) it may consume a lot of time on fixing the position.

Wdym by fixing the position? Moving the character?

Not actual character but rather an issue with limbs instead, it would be great if you have separated the body parts for your own low poly character. (simply turn it into R15)

Choose what looks best for your game, and what you are capable of doing. Realistic games make blocky Roblox characters look out of place, but a hyper-realistic character copied straight from the latest triple-A game will look even worse in Happy Home of Robloxia.

Your own would problably look better. But its would be way easier and way less time consuming if you stick to roblox character models.
