Creating spiral staircases on cylinder

I want to create spiral a stair case that goes along the walls of a cylinder. At first I used a cylinder, with the centre unioned out, but I figured that would be a nightmare to position things evenly.

So I got a part 11 studs long, and made a circle with 15 degree angles (this replicates Roblox’s cylinders), and tried to create a staircase like so, however, this is as close as I could get, which still looks really janky.

I DO NOT want to eye ball it either. As in, I don’t want to just freely move parts, and give them random rotations. I want stuff to be lined up right, etc.

Basically, since each segment is 11 studs long, 11/4 = 2.75. So each plank is 2.75, and 4 of them take up the full length of the segment. But it just doesn’t look clean, and smooth whatsoever

Try Archimedes Two plug-in to make it. What you do is open the plug-in, set your desired rotation angle, then hit render. After you hit render, you select the newly generated part and drag it up to the height you need for it to become a stair case. Then repeat over and over.

Theoretically if you make 1/4 of the spiral staircase you can just duplicate it and rotate it 90 degrees and move it into position over and over which would be faster but I haven’t tried that so I can’t guarantee it will work but first method definitely should make it easier.
