I like the house’s layout, and the buttons hanging off the side to the left are a nice touch. However, the use of bright and strong colors gives the model a dizzying, somewhat abrasive feel.
I feel as if this creation would benefit foremost from a softening of the color palette. It could also use a skybox more fitting to the cartoonish feel of the model, benefit from greater detail on assets such as the pipes and terrain, and use more original assets (i.e. not repeating the same house/window/pipe model).
Keep up the work! You should post an updated version of your creation once you have modified it.
It’s giving Dr. Seuss, so I’d go with weird, especially the smile on the front of that house…
Overall the color scheme is good in terms of creativity, but I’d definitely modify or remove the smile altogether.
I promise you this is definitely weird, but one thing about creativity is that anything goes. If your mind makes you want to make a house with a mouth on it, that is what you should do. After all Monster House was a smash hit.
All in all the I do appreciate the color scheme, it is very bright and lively. I love how the house itself has a personality which is gifted to the entire world. The entire concept is extremely creative, it looks like something made in a lab. Hello Neighbor Vibes.
I do you recommend taking away the Mario pipes, I also recommend turning this into a bossfight. Thank you for reading!
I think it looks weird to me because of the mouth. It reminds me of the long blue guy from poppy playtime, perhaps removing the “clown lips” would help. Also maybe change up the base color for the houses? they don’t all need to be yellow.
The windows on the main house are supposed to be eye-like but the windows everywhere else, aren’t. perhaps add some different windows for the eyes on this house.
Reference Mickeymouse clubhouse or a Mcdonald’s play place if that is what you’re going for!
I tried changing the colours, but none of them looked good. At all. Red made everything else too bright, green did the same, blue was the least odd, but still didn’t fit.
If I added music, would it seem less freaky, or would it just be like crashing a car with the radio on?
Only reason I added all that was to take the focus off of the face. I have tried everything but can’t make any better replacements, I tried using a door, looked even creepier. Tried using windows, looked actually horrifying. This version is the least traumatizing, I can assure you.
Depends on the Music you add. If you use some basic NCS like Tobu it would tone the whole experience down. Right now it looks like it could be more of a creepypasta horror game with intentionally bright and fun colors. (Rainbow Friends, PopyPlaytime FNAF) but if you add in some really basic music, it completely negates those vibes. If you want to keep those vibes add something like the day theme from FNAF Security breach.
If all the other colors don’t work, try different shades of yellow, and perhaps add some brick or wood texture. A lot of the creepy aspect is that it seems to have the appearance of a house but very much isn’t. If you make the windows 3D and make the houses slightly more “realistic” that might fix it.
Perhaps make it into a tree house? Kinda like this?

Using this music
And was just going for a huge extended house, growing as it gets higher as if it just opened up, hence all the springs.
Nah this was just supposed to be some happy innocent obby.
Nobody will think it’s a horror game, with the colours, as it’s outside in the middle of the day.
Deception in a horror game, lovley twist though aint it?
