Reproduction Steps
Step 1: Open any associated items page.
There are multiple ways to trigger the auto refresh:
- Click on any other application while you have the page open
- Hover with your mouse over the browser/page after you focused on a different application
- Rescaling the browser
- Opening a new tab
- Clicking on the URL bar
- Clicking anywhere on the top bar of your browser
- Dragging the browser
Happens on any browser I tested (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge)
Expected Behavior
That it works the same way as Developer Items, Avatar Items or Experiences. Meaning that it won’t auto refresh every single step you do.
Actual Behavior
I can easily get over 10 auto refreshes within 20 seconds by just doing what I always do.
It happens in all Associated Items (Badges, passes and dev products) but doesn’t appear to happen in any of the Developer Items, Avatar Items or Experiences.
Common problems
- It slows down your development time as you have an auto refresh at least twice per ID you would copy into studio.
- Often an auto refresh happens twice in a row by doing the same step
- Not pleasing for your eyes that much in such a short time
