Creator Dashboard not launching Studio

Reproduction Steps

I’ve started to notice yesterday that when trying to open an experience (place) from the Creator Dashboard it simply won’t open. I thought this was a device bug but I just turned on my PC (was on a macbook when it first happened) and the same issue occurs.

  • Simply go to the Creator Dashboard, and click the pencil icon to open up studio. It will give you the normal “Launching Studio…” (This issue still occurs when clicking on the experience and clicking “Edit In Studio” within the creator dashboard)
  • Observe nothing happening. It will eventually time out and I have waited (just to see) over 10 minutes.

Device Info:

  • User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/110.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
  • Platform Type: PC
  • Device Type: Computer

Expected Behavior

I get the popup frame asking if I want to launch studio, and it will open.

Actual Behavior

Studio does not launch, no popup-frame appears.

Every time I click the “Edit In Studio” button or the pencil icon, this error appears in the console:

This error never appears when opening the experience on actual Roblox. The popup frame appears immediately and studio launches. I have a fast (100MBPs connection) so that can’t be the issue.

Workaround

Opening studio via the experience’s page, clicking on the three dots, and edit, functions as intended.

Glad to see I’m not the only one. This has been occurring for me off and on since the website’s release.

Hey folks, we’ve seen the thread and will update ASAP today when we have the solution shipped.
