Creator Dashboard to replace the Develop Pages in early 2023

Actually it appears that some of them have been updated to use links.
However there are still a few things to make links (I still have a feeling there are a few left besides the \/ image):

Anyways thanks for linkifying most of the elements. This has been a huge UX enhancement.

One concern is that asset pages are no longer viewable if you are not logged in.

For example:
https://create.roblox.com/marketplace/asset/53326/Neutral-Spawn-Location
is not viewable without logging in.
But the older version is:

This is honestly a big step backwards. Sometimes you wanā€™t to look at an asset link someone senā€™t you but canā€™t because it asks you to login.

Another unfortunate thing is that the comment section on assets is hidden on the new creator page of assets. This is probably a deliberate choice due to the fear of spam comments, however they can still be a very usefull means and shouldnā€™t outright not shown on assets.

Also a third usability problem is that you can no longer favorite assets on the new creator page.

Although assets used to be viewable without the requirement to login. (Atleast in the old Marketplace/Library) They probably thought that nobody is going to use Google Chrome Guest Mode or try to access the Creator Marketplace while not being logged in. (Since you canā€™t get Creator Marketplace items without a Roblox Account anyway)

I also highly agree about us viewing comments and posting comments on assets. Community feedback is important on these kind of things and not be able to comment on these things in the Creator Marketplace is frustrating.

I absolutely agree. Comments are very important feedback for assets and allow a lot of usefull stuff which otherwise would really not be possible.

I think the solution to spam comments is

  • a.
Block ā€œ/e freeā€ and other ā€œ/eā€ chain messages
  • b.
Block other common chain messages too and act on reports of spam messages (and have a seperate spam message report category)

Thank you, Iā€™ve got astigmatism ā†’ thus very hard to read and focus on white/blue text on a dark background, I must use light mode everywhere (not a choice)

https://www.roblox.com/admin is the admin panel link I think, but it gives you a 404 error if you donā€™t have perms.

If itā€™s 404 it doesnā€™t exist. If it did, it would give a 403 which is means you were denied access by the server.

MAJOR BUG:

I currently cannot upload decals, as it seems the client does not have permission to send a post request to the create api:

It doesnā€™t take you to the usual 404 page though.

Seems like they fixed that. I was able to upload a decal recently yesterday.

I see the inability to see sales has already been mentioned, but has the place visit counter also been removed?
As our game has multiple places for the maps it was always useful to see the visits to know which map was the most popular.

Confirmed: It is, I found an old video of it.

When are you going to make the Create button on the Mobile app open the Creator Dashboard for Mobile?

Example:

That would be a useless feature. They should probably remove that button.

Just go to inventory instead, itā€™s basically the same.

But if they made the Creator Dashboard for Mobile as well. Why donā€™t they connect the button on the app to the Creator Dashboard?

I donā€™t know, it should be one or the other. Having a non-functional button or a button that just tells you ā€œnopeā€ is useless.

I agree, that is why I want the button to connect to the Creator Dashboard so that it actually has a purpose of being a button on the Mobile App.

Also, I think instead of saying Create it should say Creator or Assets Config or Creator Dashboard. Something like that.

Thereā€™s currently a few bugs when uploading and configuring assets in the new dashboard that the develop pages didnā€™t have, is there anyway to report these?
