I think adding a wedge would make it a bit more interesting, thanks for the feedback.
Your building is decent, but at the same time it looks very bland and uninspiring.
First of all, your fences don’t look like fences, in fact they sort of remind me of the fries that they serve at McDonalds. You should lower them and add some more wood-like colours. Plus, some parts to help support it going through the middle would be good.
Also, your bricks are pretty much the same colour as the wall, you might want to change that up a bit. Also adding some bricks around the corners of the building would definitely improve it.
I would also work on fixing up that sign a little bit, and the windows remind me of prison bars. You might want to make those a bit more friendly. I’m pretty sure that Papa Taco isn’t a facility full of dangerous criminals.
Finally, you might want to work on doing some extra stuff with the roof, you don’t need much detail but you could consider changing up the colour or adding a chimney to it. Just look at roofs on buildings for inspiration.
Hopefully I helped and I wasn’t too critical.
I think you should re-center the Letters on the sign.
Overall you should probably fix edges to line up.
It’s a very simplistic style if your going for that.
I’d as well suggest to make things proportional.
The table tops are a bit thin.
Your logo is copyrighted I’d assume.
Try and make your own using Photoshop, or any online free ‘fake’ re-made Photoshop.
Goodluck on your ventures
Two suggestions:
As said above, the text on the sign needs some work. For this, I suggest switching the font, making the font size smaller so that the text fits in one line (if possible). More or less, re-arrange the formatting.
The second suggestion is for the roof. I’m not sure if it’s intended, but the wedge doesn’t line up well with the rectangle.
Okay if you ask for brutally honest here are some tips I have for the build:
Firstly, the composition is very basic in the buildings, I understand that it’s low poly but I’d still add some more detail in the building itself, it feels rather a bit like a part with some decoration.
Secondly, spacing of the objects isn’t very aesthetically appealing, the circle isn’t centred on the wall and the bars for the counter I presume look wonky and have inconsistent spacing.
Thirdly, the shop being a taco shop doesn’t have much of a taco vibe, I’d maybe add a big taco sign on the top or in the circle to make the identity of the shop more pronounced, also adding a door and maybe some more windows would give a nice effect too.
Lastly, materials in this are a bit overwhelming, especially in the logo and window, I’d make the neons either more soft (you can do this by lowering the colours brightness) or by changing them to smooth plastic to more better suit the overall aesthetic.
I think that the idea is there but the build itself is fairly unidentified and lacks some details it needs to convey the idea it’s trying to convey, a taco shop. But all in all there are many ways to continue with this build and I look forward to seeing how you progress with the building!
Hope this helps!
It looks ok, however, the neon lighting detracts from the other details on the house.
Looking at this photo the roof doesnt lineup which I feel it should as I can see it quite clearly also I agree with the other points made more detail would be nice or if your going cartoon like building a giant taco on the roof could add to that.
