Cross Platform: Xbox Guideline Questions

Hey Devforum,

To keep my question quick and too the point. I understand there are Xbox guidelines we need to follow, however sometimes with big games with a lot of code and features, if one thing ends up getting passed the developers and breaks the guidelines does the entire game on Xbox and PC get removed or just on Xbox, and if so do we have a chance of fixing the oversight?

Also a side question. Is it better to have a cross-platform experience between PC players, Xbox players, and mobile players or is it better to divide them between different games? This is in the case one game like the Xbox game gets into a problem.

I am an Xbox player myself, we have an option where we can turn off cross platform, but I think it’d be best if you separate us from the rest… If it’s a militaristic game. It’s a much more enjoyable experience due to, I’m not over exaggerating, abuse of Xbox players within the ROBLOX community. Whenever we go into a Military-style game, take for example a border game, we are immediately killed since we cannot chat. Same goes for, say a game involving a ton of cooperation. However, if it’s a game that does not involve anything of the sort you should be good to go! Hope this helps!

Sorry for the late reply, I read this the first day it was posted but could not post. Still working on posting on the Dev forum, so please excuse me if it is not your normal post. Thanks!

I script for a border game and I totally agree with you on this one, they should be separated on most games which require chatting.
