    • “aballio” is now “Centro Transport”. Older buses are rebranded as “paullio”.
    • “Go Away London” is now “Go Travel”.

  • Enhanced Voice Chat (beta): communicate with other drivers by voice in your area using our new custom system and user interface! (you must be id-verified and have voice chat enabled to use this feature)
  • Croydon+ purchases are now stackable - meaning you can now top-up your subscriptions before they expire!
  • Fixed a bug where the game would occasionally get stuck on “loading player data” forever (live as of v1.3.1 patch 7).
  • Reduced memory usage substantially through map & bus optimisations.
  • Rewrite of backend data systems, improving performance and reliability - laying the groundwork for version 1.4.
  • Fixed a bug which allowed you to purchase variants even after the original bus purchase failed.
  • Fixed being able to purchase the same company depot twice in rare edge cases.
  • If product purchases fail, they now retry automatically the next time you join the game or the next time you purchase a product.
  • Fixed a bug where it was theoretically possible for transactions to be processed twice.
  • Fixed a bug where game statistics could become NaN (not a number). If you have any statistics that say NaN, they will be converted to 0.
  • Fixed a bug where transactions could stay “in progress” forever in some edge cases.
  • Reduced transaction processing time.
  • Fixed shop pages overlapping when re-opening the shop, and updated Croydon+ page.
  • Fixed some statistics appearing incorrectly - or not updating - on the UI.
  • Fixed a bug where the company search index would sometimes not update after changing company details.
  • Fixed the shop button not working in top bar while in the bus selection menu.
  • Improved the accessibility of the Upgrades shop.
  • Fixed a bug in the Upgrades shop where you could purchase upgrades over the maximum limit.
  • Fixed a bug where a Bus Discount upgrade would give a 4% discount rather than the advertised 5% discount.
  • Improved in-game moderation tools for faster bans.
  • Added camera options to the UI and added mirror cameras (active on the UI or by pressing 3).
  • Fixed the broken “request my data” button - it now retrieves your purchase history up to the moment you clicked the button. Purchase history prior to v1.3.2 is not included, but logs from v1.1 to v1.3.2 can still be accessed via the bot.
  • Since introducing Croydon Companies, you have created more than 13,000 custom companies. This number is larger than we ever anticipated and is growing fast, so we have implemented a more scalable backend solution for the company search system - this will prevent the search index from getting full and slowing down. The new search system is designed to be able to store up to 1,000,000 companies compared to 65,000 previously.
  • The company search now updates every 10 minutes - you will no longer have to wait for a new server to open.
  • Improved speed and performance for searching and updating the company search index.
  • Added “Location Hunter” and “Location Master” badges. You can obtain these by discovering new locations (5 and 20 respectively)!
  • Significantly reduced the chance of actions such as purchasing vehicles & receiving points failing.
  • Fixed a bug where the number of points earned is displayed incorrectly on route completion, and a more detailed breakdown is now provided.
  • Reduced bus preview latency in the menu.
  • Patched several security vulnerabilities that allowed malicious users to break certain parts of the game by misusing RemoteEvents.
  • Fixed a bug where the game would become unplayable on mobile and console after sitting down on a bench.
  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to overwrite your current company data by making a new company.
  • Wheelchair user now correctly rolls instead of walks into the bus.
  • Fixed a bug where passengers would sometimes ring the bell and not get off.
  • When ending a route, going out of service will now change the blind to not in service.
  • Fixed bus weather audio not playing when raining.
  • Trams in simulation servers now definitely show a player tag and collide.
  • Eclipse 2s retuned to retain their realistic slow performance while now being able to pull off at hills.
  • Better indication of what company buses you own.
  • Full rewrite of map code in the top bar to support more performant streaming settings.
  • Fixed a visual issue where liveries would only show on half of the bus.
  • Removed company shop due to a minority of groups abusing this feature & misleading players.
  • Redesigned Landing Page: Five main options for quicker navigation and the ability to mute the menu music (finally).
  • Streamlined Vehicle Selection: Jump straight into the action with a new vehicle selection page. Easily switch between operators, packs, and trams.
  • My Garage: View all your owned buses in one convenient location – perfect for returning players!
  • Company Bus Spawning: Instantly spawn blank company buses with the new ‘company bus’ category (look for the blue C icon).
  • Improved Settings Menu: A restructured settings menu is now accessible while driving, featuring all the usual options and addressing many common FAQs.
  • Enhanced experience for new users with no buses.
  • Various stops with missing or incorrect iBus announcements fixed
  • Fixed various door sounds.
  • Range of steering sensitivity adjusted (useful for that one guy who had issues playing on 240Hz).
  • Changes to input for time of day to take into account idiots putting in text
  • Additional settings have been added.
  • Some settings now save - including steering speed, ISA, tooltips & more.
  • Improvements to fog weather depending on time of day.
  • Screenshot mode will now hide player tags and bus stop markers.
  • Fixed some cases where the player could be kicked due to “Critical Data Error”.
  • Renamed “Earnt Points Leaderboard” to “Earned Points Leaderboard”, as “Earnt” is not a word.
  • Fixed incorrect calculations for Route Profit Analytics and the Earned Points Leaderboard. All of the current data is still wrong (sorry!) as there is no way of fixing it retroactively, but going forwards it will increase by the correct amount.
  • Fixed on-time bonuses giving incorrect bonuses. Now, at the end of a route,
    • Players get 5 points per on-time stop.
    • If you are driving a (not plain) Croydon Companies bus, the company will also get 5 points per on-time stop.
  • Fixed an issue where you wouldn’t receive any points if you travelled too quickly between bus stops.
  • Route end awards now stop increasing after 50 on-time stops to discourage ridiculously long routes.
  • Croydon Companies now award 3 points per passenger to players rather than 2.
  • Console players will now be able to leave a bus after sitting in it.
  • Improved vehicle tunes for several croydon company vehicles.
  • Fixed camera issues when opening the menu while in a vehicle.
  • Fixed driver count not incrementing if a server starts in the previous weekly challenge.
  • Fixed Beddington Warehouse Contract giving 280 points instead of 300 as advertised.
  • Further additions to preset destinations.
  • Stopping distance for stops increased.
  • GUI now indicates if you’re close enough to a stop for it to count as close enough for passengers to board.
  • Reduced range that ibus can be heard from.
  • Users not driving in simulation servers for extended periods of time will be ejected to free up space for those who want to drive in these servers.
  • Fixed moderated companies still appearing on the search index with their old name.
  • Added spatial next stop information markers.

Changes due to technical limitations:

  • The custom company search index has been reset. This means that most companies will not show up on the search for a short period of time. Your custom company will become available on the search up to 30 minutes after the next time you load it. In the meantime, check out our rebranded operators! In the rare event the search goes out of sync, updating your colour theme will correct this.
  • Temporarily disabled gifting of the following items: Packs, Points, and QuickBoard.
  • Reduced maximum server size to 50 to enable voice chat until the limit is increased. In practice, this won’t make much of a difference because most of the reduction has been absorbed by a decrease in the number of (rarely used) reserved places for friends.
  • Removed Daily Challenges - this was an obsolete feature anyway.
  • Most badges will be awarded on joining the game.

Redefined Stage One

New Physics & Controls

  • Suspension & new physics for all 300+ buses.
  • New fine-tuned steering controls on gamepads, keyboards, and touch devices.
  • Improved speed simulation, especially while ascending and descending hills.
  • Added automatic hold brake - no more accidentally going into reverse on hills! Tap S again once stopped to shift into reverse.
  • More realistic engine, transmission & motor modelling for each bus. EVs now have realistic regenerative braking while other buses have refined engine braking & gears.
  • Hybrid buses such as EvoSeti & B5LH now accelerate faster in electric mode and jolt when switching into diesel mode.
  • Kickdown physics & sounds are now synchronised.
  • Improved mobile controls: swipe on the lower left side of the screen to steer, push pedals to control gas & brakes.
  • New camera system with mouse-lock controls. This simulates head sway and bouncing, providing subtle feedback to bumps, turns and gear changes.
  • Improved collisions - physics & sounds.
  • More realistic speed scale.
  • Improved door animations.
  • More realistic ISA (intelligent speed assist) - you can now slightly exceed speed limits on long descents depending on the bus.
  • Park brake now gently brings you to a stop if applied at speed.
  • Added suspension rattling & bottom-out sounds at each wheel.
  • New haptic feedback for console controllers & some mobile devices. (We are still awaiting a full rollout from Roblox).
  • Attention Steering Wheel users! There is a new option in settings called “Nonlinear Gamepad Steering”. It is on by default, but turning it off will do three things which improve the feel for steering wheels:
    • Turn off deadzones
    • Map steering wheel position 1:1 with joystick input position
    • Increase steering wheel responsiveness
Please note that using an external steering wheel in Croydon requires an advanced setup with external software. We suggest following a community tutorial like this one. Support is not garuanteed.

Shifts

Redefined introduces a whole new gameplay mode called shifts! Each server has an active shift, which is a single route where players work together to achieve a frequent, realistic service pattern. Your start point will be determined by route traffic, and you may take breaks. Shifts are now the default mode, but routes & free drive are still available.
