CSG errors make the tool nearly unusable now

Unions work far less often, and now far more often result in the “We’re sorry!” message.
Undoing unions almost never works, usually results in a failure message, and does not allow the part to be edited again. period.

Turning a part from negative back to regular almost never works, usually results in a “We’re sorry!”

Pretty much all functions of CSG are now ridden with errors and bugs that make it not worth using.

please help

edit: could i somehow revert to a previous version where it wasn’t so bad?

I see too many unsolvables with separating.

I have the version right before script analysis was introduced:

No clue if that will help though. Although, it does bring back memories. The SystemMenu still has the “x” button at the right end of the script bar and the UI wasn’t merged with RibbonBar accidentally/on purpose/somehow:

ur the man

I remember back in gametest when there were no problems like this.

I’ve always wondered why the production version is so problematic compared to the gametest verison they had. :frowning:

I don’t think they had actual real live physics back in Gametest, or the fancy multiple colors. Those are cool things to have and generally worth the extra effort of backing up the parts of important unions.

On another note, I’ve got about a bazillion (maybe a slight exaggeration) of unions that crash Studio when separated. I can post them if any ROBLOX employees need reproes.

Actually that’s not true. This was on the gametest:
