I can’t get CTRL F to work. Nothing highlights when I hit it in Studio, classic style.
Ctrl + F works fine for me. It opens up the Find dialog; I would check the Shortcut help found in File → Shortcut Help
This is a known issue. We should have a fix going out shortly.
I can confirm - this has happened to me before, but it’s a seemingly random occurrence.
It happens when you click on the Explorer Window and then try to Ctrl + F inside of Script. If you happen to find a way to make it happen that doesn’t involve clicking to the Explorer Window please let us know immediately.
If it only happens based on the criteria I described, there should be a fix out tonight.
Very simple fix: Close the script and re-open it. I run into this problem all the time.
You don’t have to close and re-open it (that is a massive pain in the ass if you have a multi-thousand line script), you can simply switch to 3D View, and then back to Script view. It will force a refresh on some settings.
Makes me think: Why not have scripts remember their last view state? Just for a current studio instance; no need to save it. That’s something I wish IDEs did, but don’t. In fact, the only piece of software I can think of that does it is Microsoft Office 2013.

Now that is a sexy request.
