Currencies & Websites

Hi!

I own a website where users have accounts. The website has a currency. You are able to link your ROBLOX-MyWebsite account with a RoVer/Bloxlink-like system.

I’d like to make it so people can purchase items with my currency in my ROBLOX game. I know how to do that, the problem is I’m not sure that is allowed or not.

Is it allowed?

Thanks in advance,
Mehdi

Do you make them spend money to buy the currency from your site? As well, I think the total concept may not be allowed.

  • Do not sell, trade or give away Roblox currency, digital goods or game codes outside of the channels provided to the users on the Roblox site .

  • As discussed in Roblox Terms of Use, you cannot (and you cannot allow others) sell, trade or give away Robux, digital goods or game codes except through official channels on Roblox platform. For example, you cannot conduct such transactions through chat, Roblox Groups, or third-party apps or websites. You also cannot buy or sell Roblox games or Groups.

  • Certain trades are allowed through Roblox. (Found by clicking on " Trade " on the toolbar). No other method of trading is permitted on or off Roblox.

As well as this

  • Don’t build a game that encourages (or redirects) users to go off Roblox .

No money spent. It’s a currency you earn by being a good community member (reporting bugs, giving ideas, etc.)

Well, as long you aren’t trading, forcing or getting players to buy it, I think your ok.

Probably going to sell game codes (using my currency) on the website and then you have to redeem the code ingame, seems more ToS friendly to me. If you look at games such as Adopt Me, Jailbreak or some other, they use Twitter to share codes. Looks good to me.
