Hello! I am just wondering whether I can use current affairs issues as a means of promotion in my games. I have seen a game already do this by promoting the Iran and USA situation: [GUNS!] The White House - Roblox
If this is allowed I would also be considering introducing a game with some form of content relating to the Iran and USA issue which is currently in the news, pretty much at the same level, but I would like to clarify with other developers whether this goes against the Terms of Service in any way, better to be safe than sorry!

I personally wouldn’t because of it relating to politics and military attacks that just happened. Remember that this platform has younger people who might not fully understand the situation.

I don’t think I’d use current affairs issues. I know a border patrol game that was shut temporarily due to the issues with illegal immigrants. Also, as @Badandy11, there are young people on the platform that may not be aware of the situation between the US and Iran.

I’ve reached out to Roblox Staff and I’ve gotten a response on “as long as there is no racism or inappropriate content you should be fine.”
Game also explicitly states that “this community and its proprietary games hold no judgement or beliefs in regard to any current political and governmental disputes or positions.”

Ultimately, I believe it is solemnly up to you if you believe that it’s racist or not. Racism isn’t allowed on Roblox, and as @cxxfee stated, there are 85% or more of Robloxians are children. This is why I believe my game, The White House made it as a simple team such as the Russian Security Forces, Secret Service Agent, Metropolitan Police – it simply only is, a perm with a name. This has been a long awaited update and we do not seek to imitate tensions in real life. It’s best to get a double ok, but other then that you should be well on your way.
I personally don’t think this has anything to do with “younger audience”. Even if you’re not 13+, this wouldn’t be the ideal content you should be supporting. I guess that makes it even worst, supporting something you don’t know the meaning behind.
Allow me to say when I said “younger audience” I was thinking about anyone younger than 16. It is true that politics and world issues like this isn’t really appropriate on Roblox. It may be due to my age that I put “younger audience” around 16 and not the presets of 13+ or younger.
