I have been having issues with this for around a week and I wonder why this is now an issue.
I don’t have issues like that, try to reinstall roblox studio.
I’ve been struggling with a similar issue to OP. Reinstalling studio does nothing to fix this. I’ve reinstalled and it still persists for me. I seriously have no idea what’s causing this, except for the fact it’s greatly inhibiting my ability to work with ui.

The only way I can edit my ui images now is through manually setting the ID via the console which takes a long time, especially for multiple ui pieces.

That’s correct. Nothing works to fix this, I even removed everything related to roblox. It might be some sort of ban is my hypothesis or some really rare bug that occurs.

Interestingly enough, mine has seemingly fixed itself today. I do not know why it’s now working and I don’t know why it wasn’t working before. But after a period of about three days the issue seems to have resolved itself, atleast for me.

I still have the issue still occuring actually. It’s rather frustrating but I’ll try hard-resetting my computer at this point because I need to get things done.

I have this is issue too, switching to new game/place and importing stuff there seems to work and that indicates to me that this is a roblox studio issue. Perhaps something in a game file is getting corrupted.
This is just a temporary solution however for being a long-term solution I believe it is just a roblox studio problem.
