Today I made some fabric/curtain physics using skinned meshes!
If you want to check it out for yourself heres a link!
(they are still pretty glitchy)

Wow! That’s epic. Are you making it for the heck of it or for a specific project of any sort?
i made it for this but it didnt work as well as i thought.

So for a disaster type project? Cool!
I feel like they worked great it really showed the physics!
That is really cool, aside from the few glitches (flinging you at orbital velocities when you jump), it’s really cool and would be extremely useful!
Holy cow! This is so well made! It’s very realistic! I gotta say, this is a job well done! The way it moves is awesome! I also have a question? Will you implement this to clothing on ROBLOX? Like when they’re on clothing hangers.
not sure, I think its too buggy to be real clothing.
Yes! I had to spawn it locally for physics stuff(physics tends to run better on client) so its spawned inside the player so that the script would still work, cause u need to use local scripts and local scripts only run inside tools or players, its an easy fix just using a rendered step function and setting the local transparency modifier of the curtain to 0
Jumping directly ontop of it sometimes causes my character to become invisible and flung around, its very fun even with the minor glitches Its amazing and cant wait too see what you do with it however I think it would work better on a larger scale such as a theatre or sheets on a clothes line
I love this update, props to you for optimizing it for this use. Keep up the good work!
Would you consider making this open source?
