Custom Character not moving very smoothly

Hello! So I’m making a game with a friend of mine and We have a custom character that using Mesh Deformation. For some reason it doesn’t really move very well:

I think it may have something to do with the fact that the humanoid root part is here:


Any ideas why it is doing this?

Not positive but if you’re using humanoid, check your HipHeight. I don’t fully understand how to get it to work the way you want but I know this can cause issues with custom characters and it kinda shoves them into the ground if set wrong. Experiment with this a little and see if it helps

Thanks for the comment! That doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference. do you think it could be the fact that the character isn’t animated?

Sorry for the trouble.

I don’t believe so this looks like the character is somehow being forced into the ground and having problems moving around as a result.
