Custom Character torso isn't moving correctly

I’m trying to make a game with a custom spacesuit with a blocky/retro look, when moving the custom part of the torso stays still relative to the character. It’s more obvious when the character dances.
I’ve tried welding to the torso and humanoid root part but neither fix it, sometimes trying to weld it to one of them locks up the whole character.

Are you sure the spacesuit isn’t Anchored, or welded to something else other than the torso?

In the Model tab in Studio you can select Show Welds and Show Constraints to be able to see them in the workspace.

Perhaps use Attachments for each body part?

Tweaked with the welds a bit and it works now, thanks.
