I was making a custom starter character with r15 but it doesnt seem to animate good, i was wondering how to start making a custom starter character without the rigs, if i have the character animted in blender, how do i import it to roblox and script it in? Do i still put a humanoidrootpart if it isnt r15 or r6? I honeslty dont know where to start even tough i have my character in blender ready and animated.

You can import your custom character with “Import 3d” scroll down and select the type of your character to “Custom”.
Once imported, remove the animator controller, rename ‘RootPart’ with ‘HumanoidRootPart’ and add a humanoid. Whats make a R15 character, is the name you’ll give to your meshparts and your bones. Even if you put a humanoid (type R15) Roblox will not detect it and change your character, because there are some requirements.
