Drag the tool itself, and then move the mesh/handle of the tool (basically the model/part inside the tool that makes the tool look like what it looks currently) until it fits the character’s hand. Or just use this plugin named Tool Grip Editor - Roblox.
actually you can only rig the tools into the character and animate it at the same time.
Since the tool itself can’t detect which is handling position of our char so
recommend yall should look for a script to run that way
