I had a personal need for a dialogue system, so I decided to try and figure out how to make one from scratch. I got my whiteboard out and got to work. After a couple days of programming it, its finally ready to share!
Pretty proud of how it turned out! Made sure it had plenty of cool animations, and even implemented Defaultio’s rich text module! Super neat stuff.

All NPC’s have conveniently stored dialogue and configuration settings. Settings allow for a quick change of NPC name and color theme.
There are still a few small problems here and there that I will need to fix at a later date. This includes text scaling issues and compatibility for mobile and xbox.
Regardless of functionality (which in and of itself is nothing short of phenomenal), it is a very visually appealing UI design, and the text animations are intriguing as well.
Hello, I like the design of the NPC custom dialogue but can you show us how to make a decent custom dialogue because each in our game needs a better Dialogue and also can show us at the community resources the basic custom GUI.if you really want to share I glad to see it and how to make it. and I hope you have a fantastic day
YOOO that is cool and really clean and nice, I like the effects to it, I’v never seen something like that, only simple GUI dialogue. This is the best I’v seen before. I really love this, that’s cool.
Yep! I’ve never bothered to learn UI design, so I thought I would try going for a stylized world space UI instead. I think it looks even better than what regular UI could have offered.
Might open source it in the future after I clean it up. I’m by no means a pro, so I am hesitant to release code that could probably be written better than it is.
Man don’t worry how it is written. If it works, it works xd! It’s so impressive that I think u should consider urself at the beginning of the ‘Pro’ Stage.
