I know there are the increments: 1, 1/5th and X. But I would prefer if we could actually type down the digits we wanted. Personally, I like to use 1/5th for all my work, but there are times when you cannot align everything with a 0.2 increment, and X is equally frustrating. I would like there either to be a way to use increments such as 0.5 or 0.1 in Studio.
Either a larger option of increments, or the ability to actually type the increment we wish to use.
Would a custom “Move in this direction by…” method work as well? A lot of 3D Solid Design software generally lets you move objects in a distance by an amount you type in. Or would a custom drag increment be so much better?

CUSTOM DRAG INCREMENT
Also a way to resize multiple parts at once, like you were able to in CmdUtl, WOULD BE AMAZING!
The plate and brick style increments should be avoided if possible because they only cause problems.
A new formFactor that was something like 0.5/0.25/0.1 would be nice and could be used as a replacement for ‘plate’ and ‘plate’ along with brick could be deprecated. The reason I would like to see this is because the custom formfactor feels like it would always be off with some tiny amount because it doesnt work in steps.
But yeah, I could use a custom increment. Im working on a game where the terrain is in increments of 10 studs, so it would be nice to be able to resize in increments of 10 instead of having to manually ensure the size/position is a multiple of 10. And the original reason for choosing 10 is that if it was anything else it would be very difficult to tell if the size/position is an integer multiple of the value or not…
I use CMDUtil to do this (check it out, it lets you change the increment size for scaling, rotating and moving and it ALSO lets you input a custom number in which you can scale a model. You can rotate models on pivots and as a group, you can scale multiple parts at a time and you can scale parts whilst they stay in the same spot!)

Yes please. Also, you could implement something like a face aligner (http://www.roblox.com/Face-Aligner-item?id=158937920) – I’ve seen a lot of people who use custom parts just resize parts through each other because they don’t know that plugin exists / don’t want to spend forever trying to perfectly align the parts.
@Echo
You should try out my EdgeAlign plugin. Similar sort of tool, but for movement instead of re-sizing. Lets you Drag a face onto another face while aligning the rotation / edges of those faces closest to the points that you picked them up by. Works on both models and parts.
