Custom inventory

Unfortunately, again, this is a concept forum as my Laptop is still undergoing repairs.

Let’s talk about custom inventories. I’m planning to discard the traditional ROBLOX backpack and introduce my own.

This will work by a seperate menu opening that will allow the Player to decide which item to equip onto their Character.

The ‘inventory’ won’t be present as a HotBar but instead a GUI.

Now let’s talk DataStore,

As Players progress through the game they will obviously acquire new items - Where is best for these to be stored? Backpack or a new folder entirely?

Now lets talk saving, is it best to save everything within the Backpack then reload once the Player enters the game - With another Value titled ‘Equipped’ that will PreLoad the Players prior equipped items?
