I really have no clue what the problem is regarding this.
Here is a screenshot of the rig with a light shining on it:
And here is how it’s supposed to look:
I have no clue why it does not register lighting on any of the normals of that specific body mesh (there are two) unless the light is in a super specific place, it only seems to light up the chin area.

The issue was the surface normals were not calculated correctly, so recalculating them in Blender solved the problem.
