Custom Truck Chassis Issues

I’m making a custom truck chassis; with a goal to try and re-create an ETS2-like experience whilst driving. However, I’ve only got to the suspension, and I’m having some issues.

When I unanchor the body’s defaultly-anchored part (the DriveSeat), the truck falls down to as far as the PrismaticConstraints will allow it, and, proceeds to just have a seizure.

Sorry for there being black space on the edges; Studio’s resolution is for some reason at 720p, and I can’t find a way to change it…

This should be in building support, but do you have springs in there yet?

Yeah.

le char limite

The weight of the truck is too heavy for the springs… increase the force of the spring or decrease the density of the truck body… if you want to test real quick, try to make truck massless and see if this helps, if it does, then you can play with the density of the truck and the force of the springs to get your desired outcome.

Thing is; the truck is massless. I’ve tried adding weight that does very little to help. I’ve increased the spring stiffness up to the 100-thousands, and that has little affect aswell.

And your wheels have mass? . . .

Yeah.

At this point I would double check all your constraint and spring directions, if even one is off then it will cause issues like this.

All of them are directly vertical, I don’t see any that are off…
