I have been tweaking and using new methods of trying to emulate multiple colored room lighting that can contrast each other in the same environment. This method is using multiple surface lights and point lights that don’t interfere with each other, with a few layers of fog in each part of the room that is influenced by light to have a nice look when the player looks around so it feels more realistic because of the light refraction of the fog and the color of the light.
Please let me know what adjustments to the lighting I could make, have been messing with it for a while. Lighter? Darker? Less Contrast? More Saturation? Any feedback helps! Thanks.
In that case, you should definetly add a “Playing at 1 am” setting that reduces the light if needed (especially helps if you plan to work with it for a really long time)
also it’s kind of ironic that all the neon hurts my eyes less than pet simulator x. lol which dosen’t have that much neon iirc
This lighting looks VERY GOOD! THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT! Nice job on this! The lighting is a great recreation of a futuristic style/theme! How long did it take to make it all? Is it used in a game?
Took like 3 days to mess with the lighting the building is just a placeholder. It’s replicated of a building from the cyberpunk 2077 game but no decoration. Just the lighting lol.
