This was already reported a long time ago, it’s a limitation with the website 3D renderer.

The "Yellow Snowball" gear does not display as yellow in 3D

Thank you for the report. There’s an active effort going on right now to add vertex color support in our 3D renderer. We can’t say with certainty when this update will be deployed, but this issue is on our radar. We believe this will be a better solution than updating each individual asset, as it will solve the issue once and for all. Thanks for your patience while we make this happen.
