DDOS Attacks and Sudden Server Crashes

Hello Roblox Staff,

Our game “German Voice” has fallen victim to DDOS attacks, which is something that I and the other owners of the game have not encountered in years, the Crashes section shows around 20 total crashes within a few minutes. There are no conspicuous spikes in the Error Reports section.

Evidence and references have been attached to the private message of this bug report!

Thanks to our quick reaction, we added safety measurements and banned everyone involved to stop the attacks.

How have the Attacks started? What players joined and what have they done?

Interesting to see. How many CCU you had before attacks?

Not sure if you’ve resolved this yet, but those are not DDoS attacks. Your servers are crashing due to bad server memory optimization, hence the ‘out of memory’ tag on all of them. DDoS attacks just disconnect clients by overloading traffic, not the actual server internals.

Duplicate of Games are susceptible to repeated DDoS attacks, resulting in >86% playercount decrease in my game.
