We all know that ideas are a crucial (and arguably the most fun) part of game design. Everyone has their own theories on what makes a good experience, but I’m looking for something a little more objective.
What are some fun currently-dead experiences that have at least 1 million visits, and why do you think they died?
For further clarification, we can define currently-dead as under 100 concurrent players. I know there are some arguably great experiences with less than that, but we have to draw the line somewhere.
I remember when Slaying Simulator was popular when I joined ROBLOX in 2018. It even got attention of a few content creators. It was also the first game I favorited.
Starscape is a really cool space game that kinda fell apart due to lack of updates and internal developer issues. The game has amazing potential to basically be a Roblox version of No Man’s Sky, but lack of funding kinda broke the development cycle. Definitely worth a play though
