Dead rising showcase

Hello there, currently I am working on a game called “Dead Rising” (Name is just a combination of AR 1 and Deadzone) the map is gonna be extremely big if I have enough ideas and it’s a showcase map if you were wondering.

Here’s a picture (Note : Anything you see in the picture is subject to be changed)

Any feedback would appreciated, thanks.

The cone trees instantly caught my eye. Please don’t use the cone mesh, it doesn’t look very good. Is it supposed to be low poly, or were you going for a realistic look?

I agree with @ParkCityUSA said:

It doesn’t fit well in the game.

And the other tree, that i saw, it looks like a free model. I have nothing against the use of free models or it’s idea itself, but if you want to make your game popular, build your own tree, it’s really easy! :D)

And, that’s all i can give for now., Have a good day!

I suggest making your own car meshes in blender (or other softwares). Yours are a little blocky, the material of some doesn’t really fit.

People are so focused on the visuals.
Focus on the gameplay, if it’s fun I’d still play this nomatter if you use conetrees or not.

The trees don’t look that good.
Try working more on it.

Here would be a tutorial, if you wanted to make your own trees:

how to make trees lol

The reasons why they’re blocky is because the vehicle’s I am remastering are all from Deadzone just with a bit minor changes.

Hm, I see. A suggestion would be making them all the same material. I see 1 if them is another material (red one). However, great job  basic but nice.

It seems that your going for a grassy map, I would suggest you to add more detail to landscaping the area. Make wavy small monutains, rocks, anything natural that fits the showcase to make it better

If AR1 and Deadzone together then it looks good so far. But if theres gameplay, i’d like to see.

It looks like a very simple map. You could add some bushes to help add a little more to the ground. Also, I agree with not using just a cone mesh. You could try stacking them to add layers, which is an uncomplicated way to make it better in my opinion. If you want to add a little creepyness to the map, you could add flickering streetlamps on the side of the road. I hope you find my ideas useful!
