NOTICE
***This game is open access to anyone and everyone. Therein, by accessing our game, you agree to follow and abide by our Community Guidelines, which are used to set a standard for acceptable behavior on our game. Most of these are common sense.
Further, by playing our game, you understand that, in the instance you are moderated, your UserId will be collected and saved to a DataStore to properly register your moderation. Your UserId will be saved with no pre-determined time in the instance you receive a warning or a permanent ban. Under all other circumstances, your UserId will be stored for the duration of the ban.
Failure to abide by these guidelines will result in moderation. If you do not accept these terms, do not play our game.
These terms are based on the game’s integrity (or otherwise how enjoyable it is for others).
Exploiting / Cheating
Exploiting or cheating in Dealt is strictly prohibited, and those caught engaging in such acts will be moderated accordingly. Exploiting or cheating includes - but is not limited to:
- Utilizing bugs or glitches to gain an advantage over other players.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities in code or the Roblox Engine.
- Participating in behavior unfair to other players (Ie, betraying your team).
Be Respectful
When engaging with other members of the community, be respectful to them and treat them accordingly. Do not insult, demean, mock, talk down to, or otherwise cause injury to other players. No matter the circumstance, disrespect will not be tolerated.Do Not Spam
We classify spam under an encompassing aspect involving multiple definitions based upon the definition provided by multiple platforms with unique classifications. Violating any individual definition of spam will constitue Moderation. These classifications are:
- The general and well-known classification, where a message is sent repeatedly over a short time spam.
- Sending unsolicited advertisements to players unwanting of them, regardless of what the advertisement may be, including if it’s an “advertisement for Dealt”.
- Being otherwise unproductive to forum will fall under this rule and is subject to the individual determination of both the Moderator executing and the reviewer of an appeal if you choose to submit one.
Refrain from Controversial Topics
Needless to say, this is Roblox, a platform primarily used by younger audiences. Furthermore, Dealt is an all-ages game. This means people from varying age groups will participate in the game and proceeding games. Because of this, topics covering religious, political, or otherwise controversial/sensitive topics are strictly prohibited. We do not endorse these conversations on any of our platforms and will never hold a place for them under any forum we supervise.Scamming
Scams follow deceitful and manipulative tactics. These tactics result in the loss of property or assets owned by the individual in a manner that does not return compensation or have the consent of an individual in an informed manner. By engaging in behavior resulting in the loss of property or assets of an individual, be it those losses are related to in-game items (obtainable by shards or robux), personal accounts, or similar will result in Moderation.
Ban Evasion
The evasion of bans or assisting with the evasion of bans via account lending is not permitted. Those who have evaded bans will be banned on both their main account and the alternative account. This ban will be permanent if a permanent ban is not applied to the respective account. Those assisting in the evasion of bans will be given a tempban. A succeeding violation, regardless of the individual the account was lended to, will receive a permanent ban. This ban will be non-negotiable.Misinformation/Fearmongering
Spreading information with the intent to misinform or strike fear into other players is not acceptable on our platform. If you are repeating information presented to you by another individual, and that information is false, you will not be granted an exemption to this rule.
Disrespecting Staff
Staff service the game under voluntary conditions. They sacrifice their time to help keep the game safe. As such, we do not permit the following under any circumstance:
- Bootleg moderating (engaging in an ongoing violation in an attempt to stop it).
- Mini-modding (or threatening to call a Moderator or acting like a Moderator to resolve an issue).
- Submitting a false report to staff.
- Disobeying commands of staff.
- Impeding the duties of staff.
If you encounter anyone violating the rules or you encounter staff you believe to be abusing or doing something similiar, open a ticket on our Discord. Do not attempt to confront a person violating the rules or attempt to confront staff.
Impersonation
Do not attempt to impersonate any individual, especially:
- Roblox Staff,
- Game Staff,
- Game Developers or Owners,
- YouTubers,
- Celebrities.
Illegal Activities
Do not commit or threaten to commit any of the following:
- Doxxing another player,
- Harming another player,
- Blackmail another player.
Sharing Personal Information
Do not share personal information with other users. As per Roblox's Terms of Service: "To maintain privacy and safety, users may be prohibited from sharing their own or requesting others’ personal information and unique identifiers on Roblox." Which can be found under the "Security" header in Roblox's TOS.Trolling / Griefing
Do not intentionally participate in inflammatory behavior intended to ruin the experience of Dealt for other players. Do not cause grief to other players. Do not interrupt or disrupt the flow of the game for other players.Multi-Accounting
Do not create multiple accounts, be it they are "main" or "alt" accounts and bring both of them into a game. This create an unfair advantage to other players, given that you now hold a larger position compared to them.Offensive Usernames or Avatars
Avatars or usernames of users in-game will be subject to moderation. If the avatar or username in question does not fit into these guidelines, but is still "offensive", the user will be subjected to Moderation as per these guidelines.Teaming
Teaming, as per the word, does NOT fit into the context that users who are classed into the same team are working together: this is expected from the game and the content of the game as per its rules. However, users who violate this boundary and cooperate while on opposing teams will be subject to moderation as per this provision.Leaking
In the instance you come across information regarding future updates or planned events, do not spread said information. Users who spread this information with other users, regardless of whether or not they are the source, may be subject to Moderation as per this provision, regardless of the platform from which they determine to spread the information from.POLICIES
This section is intended to inform players of general policies when it comes to incidents in the game. Staff are required to generally follow these policies.
Scamming
If you have been a victim of scamming on our game, we are unable to restore the lost items, regardless of what you have paid for the item. We are unable to prove that these items were owned by the victim and, therefore, are unable to restore them.
Bugs
If you encounter a bug of any severity we ask that you report it on our Discord. Depending on what we are capable of and the severity of the bug, you may receive compensation for reporting it to us. This is strictly dependent on the bug in question and is not a guarantee.
Furthermore, any benefits or losses you receive from a bug are not required by us to restore and/or compensate you for. If compensation is provided, it is complimentary.
Ban Appeals
Moderators do withhold final say in many decisions. Because of this bans and other punishments will be handled in different ways and punishments will likely vary. At times, punishments may be issued which are false as a result of human error. We are all flawed and mistakes do happen. But, if you are banned falsely, do not expect compensation.
Ban Appeals can be submitted in our Discord in the tickets section. These tickets have rules you are asked to oblige to otherwise you are at risk of having your ticket closed. Ban Appeals will only be accepted under the circumstance that the ban issued is false.
Your ban will NOT be appealed for any of the following (and more which may not be listed here):
- Your cat walked across your keyboard.
- Your account was used by someone other than yourself.
- Ignorance of a rule or rules.
- You’re apologetic/sorry for what you did.
User Liability
Users who join and participate in the game are subject to these rules and the consequences which may arise in the instance the rules are not followed. Users who violate the rules will accept full responsibility for their violation and will be held 100% liable for the infraction of the rule.
Furthermore, if a user has items of value on their account, the user will not be compensated for the value of those items. By accepting liability for their actions, which is accepted through the agreement of these rules, by which is automatically understood and accepted through the joining and playing of our game, the user accepts that we are not liable for any losses, damages, or liabilities that arise from the result of a ban or other Moderation Action issued to the account.
