Expected outcome: Current documentation states the user should press ⌘ + F1/2/3/4/5 to access Stats, Render, Network, Physics and Summary debug overlays.
Actual outcome: The user is required to press FN + ⇧ + F1/2/3/4/5 (FN Key, Shift, F1/2/3/4/5) to access Stats, Render, Network, Physics and Summary debug overlays.
This also changes again if the user has this setting enabled: https://gyazo.com/89b97c483b84515bae0a84ec2a4fd37d (Use F1, F2, ect keys as standard function keys) - With this the user is required to do ⌘ + ⇧ + F1/2/3/4/5 (Command, Shift, F1/2/3/4/5)
Hi there,
Just to follow up, we believe this is normal behavior on Mac for Fn keys in general, with typical Mac keyboards including built-in and external such as the Apple Magic Keyboard. As you cite, on these keyboards it’s required to hold the “fn” key to make F1, F2, etc. be recognized as such, meaning that needs to be part of the key combo for Studio when using the diagnostics shortcuts such as “Render” and “Network”… however, this may not be case for all external keyboards on Mac, which is why we didn’t specify it on the shortcuts page citations citations.
Is this a correct analysis of the report, or is there something else specifically related to Studio and the shortcuts page citations?
