This is the only decal that I’ve encountered doing this.
Decal: gauge_horizon - Roblox

Your transparent pixels are probably purple, try making it black-and-white
What color are the transparent pixels? Set them to black (I hope you know how, because I don’t)
I read somewhere that it might help mask the issue.
Black and white fixed the issue.
Could’ve sworn this was a rendering bug, there is no purple anywhere in paint.net …
tl;dr: Textures automatically have lower-resolution versions generated to help performance and make them look less noisy when viewed from far away or at steep angles. The pixels get mixed with nearby pixels so that these low-res versions still look mostly the same.
…But transparent pixels still have a color, so they get mixed with nearby pixels too, creating a faint outline where opaque pixels mixed with transparent ones if the color was much different.
I’m not sure there’s any way to fix it with paint.net though. Last I checked PDN automatically makes transparent pixels black.
