So I modeled this german helmet in blender and if I were to use a shrinkwrap modifier it would be too many triangles, also if I tried to use a decimate moidifer it would look really bad by the time I reached below 10,000 triangles. Does anybody know a way to do this in Roblox studio, keep in mind I am not good at texturing.

Duplicate the mesh, delete everything but this little patch of geo “blue square” offset it slightly. Make it fully transparent and put the decal on that.
What, if you put the decal on a roblox sphere meshpart (or just a ball made union) and squished it to align to the helmets curvature (and made it transparent, can’t collide etc.)?
