When applying decals to an union, the decal will appear incredibly messed up on the object, with parts of the decal also appearing inside the union. Here are images for comparison.
I’ve also been having the same thing happen to me. Like the post says the bug seems to only happen with spherical or at least complex unions, simple unions seem to work as intended.
unfortunately the issue still occurs for me, i don’t know if theres been a studio update i’m just not getting but spherical unions still have the buggy decal imagery.
@BoojieQ I’ve checked the files you sent. They worked by separating a few times and then reuniting. Note that you have a union of unions, so you need to separate a few times until there are no union parts left, and then proceed with re-unions.
@Draggyy there’s no need to uninstall/reinstall. Simply ensure you’ve separated all union parts before re-union. Alternatively, create a new sphere, union it, add a decal, and then test to see if the decal is applied correctly.
This issue still occurs, even on a completely new spherical union with only one part in an entirely separate place file. There is only one part in this entire operation.
still get the issue, i’ve been trying all day testing with basic spheres and other unions but all of them are still broken. it seems they even have weird hitboxes now.
the decals are a little better now but they’re still very broken
