Decals disappearing through glass

Hello everyone!

I am just wondering how I would get around this, I have decals type blocks as my leaves on my trees and looking through glass makes these decals disappear. I usually wouldn’t be bothered but my building is suppose to be surrounded by wood and the glass really hinders this.

This is a known Roblox bug. Just use a different material.

As of now it’s an intentional thing that glass will not render anything that is transparent or is on a transparent part, including decals.

Has been the case even almost 2 years ago

Make glass work with transparent objects

As a Roblox developer, it is currently not feasible for me to use the glass material in my games, because the material does not work with other transparent parts. For example, if I place a part with 0.5 transparency in front of a glass part, the transparent part will be invisible. The only thing you can really do is to use the Plastic Material instead of the glass material and to only really use Glass if you’re certain there’s no transparent objects around where you can look through the glass
