Using decals, it seems like there are strange lines that can be seen once you walk away a little. The effect is especially visible in the screenshot, where I have a grid of parts, all perfectly aligned, and you can even see it from parts below another part. Is there a way to fix this, or an alternative to decals that is better/more performant?
The same effect is visible with Textures, so they’re also out of the question.
I’m not exactly sure if that’s a work around, because this has long ago been a bug for a while. Alternatively, try calculating the decals that are obstructed in view and then hide them.
That’s kind of sad. On the bright side, I looked at a post mentioning this post, and it seems like 8 days ago a Roblox staff member commented on it (2 years later, thanks boblox)
