I am not quite a good builder, Since I mostly focused on programming and UI design and I am relatively new to building. Although at the moment I’ve been trying to fix a problem with textures and decals.
What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear)
I have been trying to achieve this simple problem yet complex one. Where decals try to show over textures.
What is the issue? (Keep it simple and clear - Include screenshots/videos/GIFs if possible)
As I show in the video, The texture seems to “hide” these decals and I’m not sure why. I’m not that great of a builder myself but is there some sort of reason why? Is there a layering or some sort I need to take into account? The decals render over any other thing except for textures. Textures always appear on top of these decals.
(Textures being a part with texture within it, Not a mesh part texture.)
What solutions have you tried so far? (Have you searched for solutions through the Roblox Wiki yet?)
I have tried searching the web, As well as the dev forum. Which the only thing I have come across is decals showing through certain things like parts which is not the problem I’m having other than textures overlapping decals or not allowing decals to render on top of it.
It seems to render whenever I make the part nontransparent (the one with the decal), Other than that I can’t seem to fix it when the part is transparent/not showing which is what I want it to be like.
EDIT: It seems to render when I am far away, Although when I get close it just disappears/goes transparent.
