Decals not showing up on beveled objects

Hi, so for some reason, i used this plugin to bevel this object for my game. However, when i tried adding a decal to it it didn’t show up, now I’m not sure if it is doing this because of the unions sides. but i just wanna know how to fix it

I’ve tried looking on youtube, and the dev forum multiple times but couldn’t find anything. I’m just hoping someone can fix this. Thanks!

make a new part, move it away from the union (so it doesn’t overlap) and then turn it into a negativepart, select it and then the union, union it, and then try
