Is there any way I can save the default hotbar GUI and then customise it from there? Or would I need to create it from scratch?
You can’t customize much about the default backpack other than the icon, name or tool tip in each individual tool. You need to do a custom implementation and disable the default CoreGui version.
Yes. Enable the core GUI in studio settings. Then, you can simply copy it from explorer.
