DevForum User Profile: Default Thumbnail Image Following Display Name Change.

Description of Issue:

DevForum User Profile Images returns to the default system image following a change in the Roblox Display Name.

(This has also occured when logging into DevForum on my Phone for the First Time)

First Noted Occurance:

22:40 PM UK - 26/05/2022

Phone Occurance: 23:48 PM UK - 26/05/2022

How to reproduce the issue:

  1. Remain logged into the DevForum
  2. Close the DevForum Website
  3. Change your DisplayName on Roblox
  4. Reopen the DevForum Website

Couldn’t reproduce this using Safari on an iPad (15.4.1).

Are you supposed to log out and in after changing your name or continue to stay logged in?

From what I understand of the issue,
You remain logged into the website and then change your display name,
When you log out and log back in again it will fix the issue.

(Apologies if my instructions were less than clear, that’s what I intended to say)

Is this still an issue for you? Often times, logging out and back in should help with this!

It will trigger the forum to pull your latest thumbnail :slight_smile:
